Presentation of the association


L'action communautaire pour le development et la conservation (in English: Community Action for Development and Conservation) was officially established on 7/10/2004 in Mwenga, capital of the territory of the same name, Province of South Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo; it is a conservation and sustainable development organization under Congolese law which aims to protect biodiversity; contribute to the development and improvement of living conditions of the community in Sud-Kivu Province particularly and in Democratic Republic of Congo in general.

-Rehabilitation of social infrastructure and drinking water supply for the population, - Support to local and indigenous Pygmy communities for the governance and management of their forests and territories on which they depend for their substance.
